Pattern your Shotgun
The most important thing to do with your shotgun is to pattern it. This allows you to see just where the shot is going. You may find some gaps in the pattern which will tell you to make some changes if you want to hit more targets or game. Blue Rock has a patterning board just for this purpose! Different loads can pattern better than others and the same holds true for shot size and load amount. You will never know if you gun is performing correctly until you actually pattern it!
Adjustments you can make if needed:
Try several different shell brands.
Try several different sizes of shot.
Change the choke if it isn't a fixed choke gun.
