Enclosed you will find preregistration forms for DU Rock and AR Open follow the preregistration guidelines:
1. Returning shooters from 2010 have squadding preference until April 15th
2. Fill out the entry form in its entirety for all other entrants who will be joining your squad
3. A $50.00 deposit made payable to “Blue Rock Gun Club” must accompany any preregistration request for each participant for each shoot
4. Mail the form(s) and payment(s) to the address found on the preregistration form

Fall Youth Trap Shoot Benefits People with Spinal Cord Injuries
The Arkansas Spinal Cord Foundation is gearing up to host the first “Fall Youth Trap Shoot” on Sat., Oct. 1 at 9 a.m. to provide scholarships for people with spinal cord disabilities.
The president of the foundation, John Wyrick, knows first hand how the scholarship will help improve someone’s life. In 1997, Wyrick fell from a lift on a tractor and his life was forever changed. After a long recovery, he then had to find a new career that did not involve as much activity as farming. The scholarship money will help re-train those with spinal cord injuries so they can find other employment.
Wyrick is also excited that one of the participants of the event is his brother’s nephew. Bauxite Middle School student, Chris Waller, was inspired to begin the sport in Jan. 2011 after encouragement from Wyrick. “It is something you can do at any age and it is friendly competition,” said Waller. “Plus, it’s giving these people a chance after an accident, to go back to school and learn.”
The shoot is open to kids 6-8th grade (junior division) and 9-12th (senior division) and will be held at Blue Rock Gun Club in North Little Rock. AYSSP rules will apply. The grand prize is a shotgun. The entry fee is $25.
“Everyone has a golf tournament or a road race, this is something different,” said Wyrick.
